OPPO has officially teased the launch of the OPPO K13 Turbo Series 5G in India, calling it the country’s only smartphone with a built-in cooling fan. The company has activated a dedicated landing page for the series on Flipkart. According to a recent report, OPPO plans to launch the device in India between August 11 and 14. Ahead of the official debut, OPPO has shared teasers showcasing the phone’s design and cooling technologies.
Oppo K13 Turbo Series Specs Revealed
The K13 Turbo Series uses OPPO’s custom Storm Engine cooling system. It features a micro centrifugal fan system with ultra-thin 0.1mm blades that spin at up to 18,000 RPM, increasing air volume by 20%. An L-shaped duct with a 3mm ultra-short design helps reduce airflow resistance and enhances cooling performance. The phone also uses 13 ultra-thin, unevenly spaced cooling fins to improve heat dissipation efficiency by up to three times. To optimise airflow guidance, OPPO has included an arc-shaped vortex tongue design that boosts air intake by around 10%.
In addition to active cooling, OPPO has equipped the K13 Turbo with a passive VC cooling solution. It includes a 7000mm² ultra-thin vapour chamber, 2000W/m·K thermal conductive graphite, and 10W/m·K thermal conductive gel to manage heat more effectively.
The K13 Turbo series follows a “Neon Turbo Design” and will be available in Silver Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maverick colour options (likely to be Oppo K13 Turbo Pro). OPPO has also added a “Turbo Breathing Light” feature, using two Mist Shadow breathing LEDs that support 8-colour dynamic lighting for added visual appeal.
OPPO has already launched the K13 Turbo Series in China. Globally, the K13 Turbo Pro (CPH2731) recently secured Bluetooth SIG certification. Both the K13 Turbo (CPH2761) and K13 Turbo Pro (CPH2731) have appeared on the Google Play Console and Geekbench, confirming MediaTek Dimensity 8450 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipsets. These listings also revealed key specifications such as at least 8GB of RAM, Android 15 out of the box, and more. Additionally, the K13 Turbo Pro is expected to launch in the ₹35,000 price segment.
