Just recently, OPPO had announced that it will be conducting its OPPO Developer Conference 2025 (ODC 25) in China next month on the 15th of October 2025, and this event was pointed out to mark the release of the latest Android 16-based ColorOS 16 custom skin. A day later, the OPPO Find X9 series launch has been scheduled and the brand has now teased a few of its performance related aspects along with the ColorOS 16 specs and features. Also, the rear camera module of the upcoming flagships has been revealed, and the product page for the OPPO Find X9 Pro is now live.

OPPO Find X9 Series – Launching on 16th October 2025 in China
As mentioned, OPPO has now confirmed its Find X9 series launch date in China and it is scheduled to break its cover next month in the country on the 16th of October 2025. Notably, it will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 flagship chip, which will be tagged with the brand’s latest generation Tidal Engine for improved performance. In addition to this, a 7500 mAh glacier battery has also been teased for the series.
On the gaming performance side, a large-scale MOBA mobile game ran at full frame for 5 hours (average frame rate: 119.9 frames), a large-scale chicken-eating mobile game ran full frame for 5 hours (average frame rate: 119.7 frames), and a large open world mobile game ran for 5 hours at a frame rate of 60 frames. In terms of AI capabilities too, a new generation of system-level AI has been brought and it is equipped with the OPPO AI dual physical keys. Also, thanks to the latest ColorOS 16 custom skin that is onboard and the chip-level dynamic frame tracking technology, 37% improved heavy load smoothness and stability as well as 72 months of smooth long-time use have been achieved on the device.
Speaking about the shared ColorOS 16 features, the brand new Aurora Engine brings Android’s first seamless architecture with 40% improved application click response fluency, 52% improved sliding frame rate stability of third-party applications, 37% improved heavy load smoothness and stability, 13% reduced heavy load power consumption, 14% of reduced total machine load, and 26% improved JAVA core interface performance. Its new seamless animation also offers a sense of control, sense of order, and a refreshing feel. Smooth and silky whole scenes (Desktop, Negative One Screen, Full Search, Drawer Mode), seamless displacement, seamless drag and drop, and seamless scaling are also features. Furthermore, 6 years of smooth use, 0 multi-window overload, lasting full frames on games, 4K 60fps video recording with low power consumption, and the industry’s first mass-produced parallel animation are also going to be offered.
The revealed camera module design points out that OPPO’s Find X9 series unlike the previous generation will be featuring a Hasselblad-branded squircle-shaped camera module housing three camera sensors of which, one is clearly a periscope telephoto camera lens. A Red color shade has also been revealed for the series. The product page of the OPPO Find X9 Pro does not reveal anything more, and again points out the performance, OS, and camera related aspects that have already been revealed. Do note, the pre-reservation for the OPPO Find X9 series is already live in the Chinese market.
