Oppo Find X9 series design and color options officially revealed; Oppo Pad 5 confirmed to launch in China on 16th October
The Chinese manufacturer Oppo will be unveiling its flagship Oppo Find X9 series in its home country, China, on 16 October, and alongside this smartphone series, the brand will also unveil Oppo Watch S. The company has already started teasing the key details of the upcoming gadgets.
Today, Oppo has officially revealed the color options of the Oppo Find X9 series, and the launch of Oppo Pad 5 is also confirmed.
Oppo Find X9 series: Design & Color options revealed
The Oppo Find X9 series will arrive in Frost White color. It comes with a unique velvet sanding process that gives the glass-like texture to the device. It will be available for both the standard and Pro variants.
There is also a new special edition color, Velvet Red, which comes with a unique velvet sanding process, the texture of glass, and the luster of metal. This special color variant will be available on both the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models.
Third is the Velvet Titanium color option that also comes with a unique velvet sanding process. It delivers a velvety metallic sheen with a velvety, skin-friendly feel.
The device features a squaricle camera module that houses four camera sensors and a ring LED light. The right side features volume and power buttons, while there is also a button on the left side.
Oppo Pad 5: China launch confirmed
Alongside the Oppo Find X9 series, Oppo will also be officially introducing the Oppo Pad 5 on 16th October. It will run on ColorOS 16 (scheduled to launch in China on 15th October). The tablet will help users in multitasking and will support faster app launches. It will offer 5 years of smooth and durable operation, while 5 windows can be easily opened at the same time.
Previously, this tablet was spotted on the Geekbench database, which revealed that the device will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC and arrive with a 12GB RAM variant. Based on rumors, a 12.1″ LCD display supporting 3K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, an 8MP main camera (rear), 10300 mAh battery backup, 67W wired fast charging support, and 578g weight are expected for the device. Storage variants of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/256GB are also expected, as well as color choices of Purple, Silver, and Grey.
