Oppo F31 5G Series India Launch Officially Confirmed for September 15th, Key Specs Leaked Again

After many leaks and speculations, Oppo has finally announced the launch date for the upcoming Oppo F31 5G series for the Indian market. The series, as per early rumours, will include three models this time: Oppo F31, Oppo F31 Pro, and Oppo F31 Pro+.

Oppo India posted on X from its official account, giving a first look and confirming that the series will launch on September 15th. In the poster released, although it does not explicitly mention the names, based on previous leaks, both the Oppo F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ can be identified. In the poster, the Oppo F31 Pro appears in a golden colour, while the Oppo F31 Pro+ is shown in blue.

Oppo will also promote this smartphone series with the tagline “Durable Champion.” Along with this, tipster Paras Guglani has also shared the key specifications of the lineup.

According to the tipster’s post on X, the F31 series will share common features across all three models. The base Oppo F31 5G will pack a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the mid-tier F31 Pro 5G sports the same display size but upgrades to the Dimensity 7300 Energy processor with identical RAM and storage configuration.

While the F31 Pro Plus 5G steps up with a larger 6.79-inch AMOLED 120Hz panel, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, 8GB RAM, and doubles the storage to 256GB. All three models feature a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup, though the selfie cameras differ – the F31 gets a 16MP front shooter while both Pro variants pack a 32MP front camera. Across the entire lineup, users can expect a massive 7000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC/fast charging, comprehensive IP66, IP68, and IP69 waterproof certification, 360-degree Armour Body design, and an ultra-slim profile.

From earlier leaks, the Oppo F31 is expected to be the rebranded Oppo A6 5G, which is also expected to debut in China soon. The F31 Pro is said to be a rebranded version of the Oppo A6 Pro 5G (launching in China on September 9th), while the F31 Pro+ is believed to be a rebranded Oppo A6 Max, aka A6 GT aka K13s already launched in China.

Looking at the leaked specs shared by Paras today, this further suggests that the Oppo F31 will likely be a rebranded Oppo A6 5G (China), the Oppo F31 Pro 5G a rebranded Oppo A6 Pro 5G (China), and the Oppo F31 Pro+ a rebranded Oppo A6 Max aka A6 GT aka Oppo K13s (China).

As for pricing, details have not been revealed yet. For now, only the launch date has been announced, and more information is expected once the microsite goes live on either Flipkart or Amazon India.
