Two new smartphones, Oppo A6V and Oppo A6i+, will be launching on February 2nd at 10 AM in China, as confirmed by Oppo, with pre-orders set to begin on the same day itself. Along with confirming the launch dates, the teaser posted on Weibo also revealed the colour options for both.

The Oppo A6V is confirmed to come in three colour options – Glacier Blue, Titanium Purple, and Wilderness Green. While the Oppo A6i+ is confirmed to arrive with Glacier White and Chestnut Brown colour options.

The design of the Oppo A6V teased via Weibo looks quite similar to the Oppo A6c (China), while the Oppo A6i+ looks similar to the Oppo A6s (China). But I doubt that the specs will be similar. As Oppo has only confirmed colour options as of now, it will likely reveal more details on or before Feb 2nd itself.

In related news, a new Oppo smartphone with the model number “PLT140” was spotted on the TENAA certification website. This listing revealed a 6.75″ display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels, a processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz, and a rear setup featuring a 13MP main camera along with a secondary lens that was not mentioned, paired with a 5MP front camera. The memory options listed include 6GB/12GB RAM with 128GB/256GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The dimensions listed are 166.1 × 78.5 × 8.61mm, with a weight of 212 grams, and the listing also confirms that it will be a 5G smartphone.
Looking at the battery capacity mentioned on TENAA for this smartphone, it is listed as 6335mAh. And since the TENAA certification only lists the model number, we can’t say at the moment which of the two smartphones announced today this belongs to.
