Oppo A6i+ and A6V confirmed to launch with 7,000mAh and 6,500mAh batteries; MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC to power both

After confirming the launch date for the Oppo A6i+ and A6V smartphones for the Chinese market, Oppo has now revealed more details about these smartphones.

Oppo A6i+ and Oppo A6V – Battery Specs, Processor details revealed

In a new teaser posted on Weibo, Oppo confirms that the Oppo A6i+ will come with a bigger 7,000mAh battery, compared to the 6,500mAh battery on the Oppo A6V. Oppo also confirms that both smartphones’ batteries will offer a lifespan of up to six years. Adding more, it has also confirmed that the Oppo A6i+ will come with IP69-rated protection.

It is also now confirmed that both devices will feature the Dimensity 6300 SoC and will offer up to 16GB of virtual RAM. However, the physical RAM shown in the posters reveals that the Oppo A6i+ will feature 12GB RAM, while the Oppo A6V will feature 8GB RAM, with 512GB internal storage for the former and 256GB for the latter.

There might be other memory options as well, which could be announced during the launch. The colour options have also been revealed. For the Oppo A6V, there will be Glacier Blue, Titanium Purple, and Wilderness Green colour options, while for the Oppo A6i+, the confirmed colour options are Glacier White and Chestnut Brown.

Speaking more, a smartphone with the model number “PLT140” was also found listed on the TENAA certification, which revealed a 6,335mAh battery and a processor with a clock speed of 2.4GHz. Now, looking at the specifications revealed officially, it appears that the TENAA listing might be for the Oppo A6V smartphone. The TENAA certification revealed a 6.75-inch display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels, a rear camera setup featuring a 13MP main camera along with a secondary lens that was not mentioned, paired with a 5MP front camera, dimensions of 166.1 × 78.5 × 8.61mm, and a weight of 212 grams. According to the TENAA listing, the memory options include 6GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

Now, since the launch/pre-booking date is set for tomorrow (February 2nd) at 10 AM China time, more details will be revealed at the launch.
