OnePlus 15T confirmed to arrive with IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating, 50MP 3.5x optical periscope telephoto lens and more

The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has been teasing new features of the OnePlus 15T smartphone for the past few days, and this device is scheduled to make its debut in the Chinese market on 24th March. Alongside the smartphone, the company will also introduce OnePlus 15T accessories.

Ahead of its next week’s debut, the company has shared a few more details related to the upcoming OnePlus 15T device.

OnePlus 15T: New features confirmed

As revealed earlier via the China Telecom listing, this smartphone will be backed by a 7500 mAh Glacier battery that comes with 5-year durability. It supports 100W SuperVOOC flash charge, 50W wireless flash charging and global bypass power supply. During the battery life test, it was revealed:

  • A popular MOBA mobile game, running at 120fps in HD, lasted 10.3 hours on a full battery until shutdown
  • A full charge lasts for 22 hours of binge-watching short dramas
  • A full charge lasts for approx. 13 hours for CityWalk

The device boasts IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating. It is equipped with the LUMO Light-Condensing Imaging System for an immersive experience. The smartphone packs a 50MP Sony Ultra Vision main camera sensor and a 50MP 3.5x optical periscope telephoto lens that supports 7x lossless optical zoom and OIS.

The newly upgraded periscope telephoto lens provides clearer magnification for distant views, making travel photography and photo opportunities more beautiful. The pericope telephoto lens captures vibrant life with Classic Portrait (85mm), Soft-light portrait and Film Style. The shadowless capture feature allows you to capture crystal-clear details, while there are also Cinematic widescreen and 4K Ultra HD Live View features.
