Yesterday, OnePlus officially introduced its latest flagship OnePlus 15 smartphone in India and selected global markets. Previously, the brand used to launch its number series device and R series device together globally as well as in India, but this year, the company decided to release only the OnePlus 15 model.
To those waiting for the OnePlus 15R model, OnePlus did hint about the launch of the device at yesterday’s OnePlus 15 launch event. In case you missed it, at the end of the event, it was announced that details related to the OnePlus 15R will be revealed soon.
Other than this, not much was revealed related to the upcoming smartphone. Reportedly, the device could make its debut next month in global and Indian markets. Looking at the previous history, it is assumed that the OnePlus 15R could be the rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6 smartphone that was launched last month in the Chinese market.

The device sports a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits global excitation maximum brightness. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on ColorOS 16. The device is backed by a 7800 mAh battery and supports 120W Super FlashCharge and bypass power supply.
It packs a 50MP IMX906 main camera and an 8MP IMX355 ultra-wide camera on the rear side, while on the front it features a 16MP IMX480 selfie camera. Other features include- Display P3 screen chip, E-sports Network chip G2, Lingxi Touch chip, Crystal shield glass, IR Blaster, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, multifunction NFC, stereo dual speakers, X-axis linear motor, IP66/68/69/69K, Fengchi game core, glacier cooling system, and Action button.
