OnePlus 15 officially confirmed to offer 165Hz refresh rate; BOE to unveil its flexible OLED flagship product in collaboration with OnePlus on 14th October in China

The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus will be officially introducing its flagship OnePlus 15 smartphone this month in its home country, China. The Sand Dune color variant of this device has already been revealed by the brand, and today the company has shared information about an upcoming BOE flexible OLED flagship product and the refresh rate of the OnePlus 15.

OnePlus and BOE are collaborating to unveil a flexible OLED flagship product on 14th October at 2:30 PM in China. The company has used the tagline China’s Refreshing Moment for Screens for this particular event.

BOE is expected to unveil a new screen at this particular launch conference that we may get to see on the upcoming OnePlus 15 device. OnePlus 15 is officially teased to feature the world’s first 165Hz high-resolution screen.

Expected/revealed specs of OnePlus 15 include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, Android 16 based ColorOS 16/OxygenOS 16, 6.78″ OLED display supporting 1.5K resolution and 1~165Hz adaptive refresh rate, 50MP + 50MP + 50MP triple rear camera system, 32MP selfie camera, 7300 mAh battery, 120W wired + 50W wireless charging, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, plus key, IR blaster, NFC, 8.1mm thickness, and 211 ~ 215gm weight. The device could come with five storage options (12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB; LPDDR5X RAM + UFS 4.1 storage).

In related news, OnePlus has already teased the launch of the OnePlus 15 in the Indian market, and it is tipped that the device will make its debut in India and global markets on 13th November. The device has already made its appearance on the TDRA and IMDA databases.
