OnePlus 15: Launch timeline confirmed & Design details teased

As expected, the smartphone will be making its debut next month in China. The device is confirmed to arrive in Sand Dune color option, while the rear camera module design is similar to the OnePlus 13T/13s smartphone. The design is said to be inspired by Dune Aesthetics.

The smartphone comes with an ultra-minimalist design, minimalist deco, and exquisite texture. It features 1.15mm ultra-narrow bezels, ultra-comfortable grip, large golden corners, Ice Skin feel, and Aerospace-Grade Nano Ceramic Metal that is slightly curved mid-frame. The nano-ceramic metal is lighter, more wear-resistant, and is claimed to have better heat dissipation than titanium.

The design includes three cutting-edge processes: Military-Grade Micro-Arc oxidation that transforms the metal into a new, more wear-resistant and undeniable tough finish; in-house Ion coloring ensures it resists fading, discoloration and fingerprints; in-house Nano-Level Sealing provides enhanced resistance to erosion and corrosion.

This nano-ceramic metal boasts an incredible toughness that’s 134% harder than titanium, 223% harder than stainless steel, and 344% harder than ordinary anodized aluminum.

Performance specs such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Windspeed Gaming Core, and 165Hz refresh rate display have been teased for the device. Its Geekbench listing had pointed out the Android 16 operating system and a 16GB RAM option, whereas its 3C certification revealed 120W wired fast charge support as well. The device was also spotted on the TDRA database.
