Nubia Z80 Ultra with 6.85″ OLED Full Display and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset launched globally

Nubia has already launched the Z80 Ultra in its home country, China, and now it has been introduced in the global markets on November 6th, 2025, as well, bringing in the same spec sheet as the one launched in China.

Here is more to it.

Nuba Z80 Ultra Specs and Features

It features a 6.85″ OLED Full Display (2688 × 1216) with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3000Hz touch response, under-display front camera, and full-screen design. Peak brightness reaches 2000 nits, and a Synaptics touch chip improves accuracy. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform with LPDDR5X RAM (12GB/16GB) and UFS 4.1 storage (256GB/512GB/1TB), running MyOS 16 (Android 16). It also carries IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistance ratings.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main (35mm, 1/1.3″, OIS, f/1.7), 50MP ultra-wide (1/1.55″, f/1.8, AF, 5.5cm macro), and 64MP telephoto (OIS, f/2.48), plus Flicker and Laser sensors. Nubia highlights a Light & Shadow Master 990 imaging sensor and a dual focal-length street setup (35mm + 18mm) with a zoom range from 18mm to 85mm and 21 creative filters. There’s a physical shutter key for better control. The front camera is 16MP.

For performance and gaming, you get the REDMAGIC-inspired CUBE Gaming Engine with Super Resolution and Super Frame Rate delivering up to 2K at 144Hz, plus AI Super Frame Stabilisation. Thermal management uses composite liquid metal and an oversized 3D Ice Steel VC (cooling area up by 35%) for sustained performance.

It packs a 7200mAh (typical) battery with 80W wired and 80W wireless charging; 80W requires the official nubia charger.

Connectivity and extras include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be (2×2 MIMO), Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C 3.2 Gen1, NFC (eSE), and support for a magnetic NFC smart case.
