Nubia Z80 Ultra More New Teasers Shared Ahead of its Launch: 35mm Light Master 990 Main + 11mm Ultra-Wide Cameras, Photography Kit, Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner, Sky Full Screen Display, and More Revealed

Next week on the 22nd of October 2025, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered Nubia Z80 Ultra smartphone is scheduled to debut in China and it has already made its appearance on the  3C, MIIT, and Geekbench databases. Just recently, we had come across the design and color choices of this upcoming flagship device and now, via its Weibo handle, the brand has revealed more about its camera, display, and security-related specs.

Nubia Z80 Ultra – Newly-Shared Teasers

As per the new teaser updates, Nubia’s Z80 Ultra is teased to feature an ultimate dual-focus lens, and it is revealed to be the king of street photography with a 35mm main camera (1/1.3″, Light Master 990 Sensor) and an 18mm ultra-wide camera (1/1.55″, 7P aspherical ultra-high lens, blue glass spin-coated IR filter). Additionally, it will also be offering a photography kit, and is teased with the tagline – ‘Street Shooting Game Console’ for providing both photography and performance. The photography kit has a quick release handle for faster assembly, is light-weight and portable, comes with a free storage pack, features a Neo Bar smart camera control bar, has an added T-mount lens adapter, equips customizable lever/dial functions, consists of physical mechanical operation keys, and presents a classic design and retro aesthetics.

Speaking more in terms of its camera specs, the device will be bringing the industry’s very first multi-modal AI-assisted photography experience (with Osmo Follow and Voice Guidance). Regarding the Light Master 990 primary shooter, it consists of quad phase detection with auto focus, AI fast capture adaptive shutter algorithm for clearer shots, and physical camera button for quick shots. A 15cm ultra-close telephoto macro capability is also supported on the device, and a few camera samples have also been shared.

Coming to its other specs, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is also now revealed to be a part of the device for instant unlocking and it will work even with wet fingers. A newly-upgraded ‘Sky Full Screen’ display is also featured on the device, and it will offer an exclusive full screen experience, professional multi-faceted eye protection, and ultimate gaming control. The display uses BOE’s X10 luminescent material and supports 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate. Notably, a 144fps support has also been given on mainstream games, and the display is ZREAL Frame Enjoy Ultra HD-certified.

SGS Low Blue Light Eye Protection Certification, 2592Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, AI twilight eye protection intelligent adjustment, and Qualcomm-tuned ultra-clear visual engine are further display-related specs. 20% increased frame response speed, up to 3000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, continuous 7000 meters operation for 62 hours, 20% increased micro-control accuracy, wet hand touch, glove mode, and tempered glass adaptation are its other notable display aspects.
