Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition Officially Unveiled: Registration Now Live Globally With Limited Units
The UK-based tech maker – Nothing has officially unveiled its next community-made smartphone model: The Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition. Its registration is currently live in multiple global markets, however only a limited number of units will be made available for purchase.

Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition – Now Official
The newly-unveiled Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition comes with the same specs as that of the standard model, and the brand made it together with Emre Kayganacl for hardware design, Jad Zock for lock screen clock and wallpaper, Ambrogio Tacconi and Louis Aymond for accessories, and Sushruta Sarkar for marketing. Notably, all these community members are the winners of the Community Edition Project 2025 that was announced back in March 2025 (will be receiving GBP 1,000 cash prize – for each category*), and for the past few months in London, they all have been working with the brand to make the latest device a reality.
Speaking more, in terms of design, an aesthetic style of the late 90s and early 2000s has been adopted, and it is being described as a – ‘bold, new, and nostalgic color exploration’. On the software customization side, the lock screen clock makes use of multiple font weights and in the meantime, the wallpaper (four versions with Blue and Purple variants*) reflects a bridge between the exterior hardware design and internal user interface. As an accessory, a set of dice with Nothing’s Ndot 55 font has been brought out as well. Finally for the marketing campaign, the ‘Made Together’ campaign focusing on the aspect of collaborative effort is being relied upon.
As mentioned, the registration for the Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition smartphone is currently live for global customers, and the window will be active till the 11th of December 2025. Additionally, a limited sale window will also be opened on the 12th of December 2025. In total, only 1,000 units of the product will be made available, so interested customers will have to get theirs as quickly as possible. About the pricing, only a 12GB/256GB storage option (LPDDR4X RAM + UFS 2..2 storage) will be offered, and it will carry price tags of GBP 379, EUR 379, JPY 59,800, and INR 28,999 in the UK, European, Japanese, and Indian markets.
