Motorola Signature Launched with 6.8″ Extreme AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, 7 Major OS Upgrades and 7 Years of Security Updates
Motorola has officially unveiled the Motorola Signature smartphone globally. Alongside its international debut, the company has also confirmed that the device will launch in India soon, with the official microsite already live on Flipkart.

Motorola Signature Specs and Features
The Motorola Signature comes with a 6.8″ Extreme AMOLED 1.5K display featuring a Super HD resolution that delivers 14% more pixels than standard Full HD. The panel supports a 165Hz refresh rate and offers peak brightness of up to 6,200 nits. It also includes Pantone™ Validated Display calibration for accurate colour, Dolby Vision support, and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 protection.
Just like it was rumored, the Motorola Signature is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, built on a 3nm process. It includes a custom CPU with speeds of up to 3.8GHz, along with a dedicated AI processing engine and enhanced NPU for on-device AI tasks. It comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. Motorola has also introduced a copper mesh liquid metal cooling system to manage thermal performance during sustained usage.
Running on Android 16, the Motorola Signature is promised to get seven years of Android OS upgrades and up to seven years of security updates. The device includes Motorola’s custom software features and Moto AI tools, which support functions such as image processing, voice assistance, and system-level optimisations. Expanded language support is included for select regions.
For photography, the Motorola signature features a quad-camera setup, consisting of four 50MP sensors. The primary camera uses the Sony LYTIA™ 828 sensor and supports Dolby Vision video capture, 8K video recording, 4K slow motion, and Pantone™ Validated colour output. A 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a Sony LYTIA™ 600 sensor offers 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom with AI assistance. The 50MP ultrawide camera provides a 122-degree field of view and also supports macro photography. On the front, the device includes a 50MP selfie camera using the Sony LYTIA™ 500 sensor with Quad Pixel technology and 4K video recording. The camera system has received a DXOMARK Gold Label rating.
The phone is equipped with a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery, with Motorola claiming up to 52 hours of battery life. It supports 90W TurboPower wired charging and 50W wireless charging. According to the company, a short charging period can provide several hours of usage.
Audio features include dual stereo speakers tuned by Bose, along with support for Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio, and Snapdragon Sound technology. Qualcomm aptX Lossless audio is also supported for compatible devices.
In terms of build, the Motorola Signature measures 6.99mm in thickness and uses an aluminium frame with twill-inspired or linen-inspired finishes. The device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and is rated to withstand submersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes. It also meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards.
On the sustainability front, Motorola states that the device uses more than 63% recycled metals, including 100% recycled aluminium in the mid-housing, along with recycled plastics such as ocean-bound materials. The packaging is plastic-free and recyclable, and the battery is rated for up to 1,200 charge cycles.
Pricing and Availability
In Europe, the Motorola Signature has been launched in a single 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant priced at €999. Motorola has confirmed that the device will roll out to the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions in the coming months, with the India launch already officially confirmed.
