Meizu started teasing the launch of the Meizu 22 series in July 2025, but the launch of this smartphone series has been delayed three times since then. Well, the much-awaited Meizu 22 has now got a launch date, and the company has already started teasing the key details of this device.

Meizu 22 will be officially launched in China on 15th September at 14:30 (local time in China). The device will arrive in a white color option and feature a square camera module that houses three camera sensors and a ring light.
The smartphone will be powered by Flyme AIOS. It arrives with One Mind’s new four-engine optimizations that ensure smooth operations for 6 years. This device is the first in the industry to pass TUV SUD’s 72-month smooth A+ certification. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC built with a 4nm process and will be equipped with 4500mm2 VC liquid cooling system.
It comes with deep optimization based on the top 5 most frequently played games, game adaptive frame rate mode, and it is the industry’s first to pass TUV SUD’s S-level certification for gaming scene smoothness. The device features a 6.3-inch display and a floating back cover design. It boasts a 2.5D micro-arc front + 3D equal depth four-curve back.
The device comes with an 8.15mm thin body, 71mm comfortable rip width, and weighs 190g. Coming to its design, the camera module features an icy smart ring, it features a four matrix arrangement, a 50:50 balanced design, and a fully symmetrical R-angle front and rear. On the front, the device comes with a 0.8mm four-sided white panel, a 1.2mm extremely narrow equilateral, and arrives with Meizu’s self-developed LIPO ultra-narrow bezel technology.
Meizu 22 features a 50MP wide-angle camera, 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera, and 50MP ultra wide-angle on the rear side, while on the front it sports a 50MP selfie camera. Camera features include: full-focus portrait photography system, analog film style, and AI effects (AI ultra-clear, AI filter, and more).
Meizu 22 is available for pre-order in China.
