Meizu 22 confirmed to arrive with ultrasonic fingerprint recognition and IP66/IP68 dust and water resistance

Meizu is all set to introduce its much-awaited Meizu 22 smartphone next week in the Chinese market. The company has already revealed a lot of key details about this upcoming device so far, and today, some more details about this device are teased.

Meizu 22: More features teased officially

The Meizu 22 smartphone will arrive with support for ultrasonic fingerprint recognition. Users can unlock the device in just 0.075s, even with wet hands. It is equipped with an mEngine Super Sense X-Axis linear motor that is said to provide an ultra-delicate touch experience.

The device comes integrated with hidden, convenient infrared intelligent control, with the help of which Meizu 22 instantly becomes a remote control, allowing you to control your home appliances at will. It arrives with IP66+IP68 dust and water resistance.

Previously revealed features include- 5510mAh battery, 80W wired fast charging, 66W wireless fast charging, 6.3-inch display, 4.6% screen-to-body ratio, 1.5K resolution, 460 PPI pixel density, 1~120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, 1800 nits global excitation/6000 nits local peak brightness rate, 8T LTPO technology, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, ZREAL Frame Enjoy Ultra HD certification, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, 4500mm² VC liquid cooling system, One Mind’s new four-engine optimizations (~6 years claimed smoothness), game adaptive frame rate mode, 50MP (main, wide angle) + 50MP (3x periscope telephoto) + 50MP (ultra wide angle) triple camera unit, 50MP selfie camera, 2.5D micro-arc front, 3D equal-depth four-sided curved back, floating back cover design, 8.15mm thin body, and 190gm weight have been revealed for the device. Also, the Meizu 22 smartphone has received TUV SUD’s S-level certification for gaming scene smoothness, and also the TUV SUD 72-month smooth A+ certification.

Meizu 22 will officially launch on 15th September in China, and along with the smartphone, the company will also unveil StarV Snap AI-powered photography glasses and FlyMe Auto 2.
