Lenovo AI Tablet Legion Y700 5th generation launching in China on 18th March; Confirmed to arrive with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 8.8-inch display and more
Last month, Lenovo officially teased the launch of the Lenovo AI Tablet Legion Y700 5th generation in China, and since then, various features of this device have been revealed by the brand.
Lenovo has now officially confirmed the launch date of this upcoming tablet and has also teased some of its new features.

The tablet will launch in the Chinese market on 18th March at 19:00 (local time). The reservations for this device are already open. First purchase rights include: 6 interest-free periods, free screen protector and tempered glass screen protector, one-year extended warranty, one-year screen brokerage insurance, educational discount of 200 yuan, trade-in program offers subsidies up to 500 Yuan, DNF Mobile Arad Limited Edition Exclusive Gift Pack at 199 Yuan and 3D printer purchase discounts from Creative 3D (up to 300 yuan off).
Coming to its features, the tablet comes with AI Pixel Sniper God 2.0, a self-developed touch super-resolution algorithm and added touch customisation functionality. This feature offers 10x super-resolution touch control, in gaming scenarios and 90% touch accuracy is improved in gaming scenarios.
The tablet features an 8.8-inch display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC paired with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage. It boasts an AnTuTu benchmark score of 4,532,189. It is equipped with 17353mm2 large VC cooling system. The third-generation Qiankun cooling architecture provides 20% increase in heat dissipation power, 10% increase in condensate flow rate and 40% increase in condensate capacity, while the frame rate is increased by 31.5%.
The centrally located heat dissipation structure is far from the grip area. The hand grip area is 5 degrees Celsius lower than the 8E5 active cooling phone.
The 4-hour continuous testing during the popular 3D turn-based mobile game and Battle Royale Game revealed that the tablet showcased better performance and higher frame rates.
