Lava recently launched the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 5G smartphone in India, and now the brand is back with another device called the Lava Play Ultra G. Its Amazon microsite is already live, although it doesn’t reveal the launch date or any specs. However, the teaser reveals the front of the device, revealing a flat-screen design. Lava is promoting it as a gaming smartphone with the tagline “Level up your play” and the message “A new era of mobile gaming starts now.” Since the listing has appeared, the phone is expected to launch later this month.

Unofficially, tipster Abhishek Yadav has shared live images of the smartphone in two colour options of white and black. The rear features a distinctive rounded-square (squircle) camera module with slightly curved edges, set within a glossy black housing. A metallic accent border surrounds the module, adding a premium touch. The setup features a dual-camera setup, consisting of a large primary lens at the top and a smaller secondary lens below, accompanied by an LED flash. Text on the camera glass confirms a “64MP AI Matrix Camera,” indicating a high-resolution main sensor with AI-powered photography features.
For now, this is all that has been revealed about the Lava Play Ultra G. Still, more details, including specifications, pricing, and availability, are likely to surface in the coming days.
