Lava Blaze Dragon with 6.745‑inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 5,000 mAh battery launched in India

Lava Blaze Dragon has now been launched in the Indian market. The smartphone, described as the “Rise of the Indian Dragon,” comes equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor.

It features UFS 3.1 ROM for faster data access and improved efficiency. The device has a 3D glossy design. It is a 5G‑enabled smartphone that includes a 50MP AI camera for capturing images.

In terms of memory, it offers 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, with an additional 4GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage for multitasking and storage needs. The phone has a 6.745‑inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2.5D curved edges, 450‑nit brightness, and a 17.11cm (6.745‑inch) screen size.

It supports Type‑C 18W fast charging with a 5000mAh battery. The device runs on stock Android 15, will receive 1 major OS upgrade, and 2 years of security patches. Plus, it also includes a side‑mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking.

Pricing and Availability

The open sale will start on 1st August at 12 AM, priced at ₹8,999 (inclusive of bank offers), reduced from the original price of ₹9,999. Customers can also get an additional ₹1,000 exchange offer on the first day of the sale. It will be available via Amazon India, the Lava official website, and other major retailers. Interested buyers can opt to receive a notification.

Update on July 25th, 2025, 2.01 PM IST: It will be available in Golden Mist and Midnight Mist colour options, and will come in a 4GB + 128GB variant with virtual memory support.
