iQOO Z11 Turbo to launch in China on January 15th with 6.59″ flat display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC

iQOO has confirmed the launch date of its next Z-series smartphone for the Chinese market. The iQOO Z11 Turbo is scheduled to debut on 15 January at 19:00 local time, with pre-reservations now open in China.

iQOO Z11 Turbo Specs teased

Ahead of the launch, iQOO has begun teasing key specs of the device. According to teasers released today, the iQOO Z11 Turbo will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, which was also recently spotted on Geekbench. The chipset will be paired with the brand’s self-developed Q2 e-sports chip, with a focus on gaming performance. The rear will come with a dual camera setup with a main 200MP camera sensor.

In terms of design, the device will sport a 6.59″ flat display with narrow bezels on all four sides and rounded corners aimed at improving one-handed use. The phone will feature a glass back panel combined with a metal frame, along with a stepped camera module. The “Midnight Black” (also referred to as Polar Night Black) variant measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 202g.

The iQOO Z11 Turbo will be offered in four colour options of Polar Night Black, Sky White, Light Pink, and Floating Light (Canglang Floating Light). iQOO states that the Floating Light variant is produced using high-precision nano-level photolithography.

More details are expected to be revealed closer to the official launch.
