iQOO has now confirmed more details regarding the update policy for the iQOO 15R. Alongside this, the company has also revealed a few software features for the device.

iQOO 15R Update Policy Confirmed
According to the updated poster on the iQOO 15R’s Amazon microsite, the smartphone will ship with OriginOS 6 out of the box, which is based on Android 16. iQOO has also confirmed that the device will receive four major Android OS upgrades, meaning it will be updated up to Android 20. In addition to this, the iQOO 15R will get six years of regular security patch updates, calculated from its launch date of 24th February 2026.
Apart from the update policy, the brand has also confirmed several software features, including One Tap Transfer for both iOS and Android, Origin Island, Cross-Device File Transfer, and Screen Mirroring.
So far, iQOO has also confirmed that the iQOO 15R will feature a triple-chip setup, consisting of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, a dedicated Q2 supercomputing chip for graphics, and a network enhancement chip for improved connectivity. The company has also revealed an AnTuTu score of over 3.5 million for the device.
In terms of colours, one confirmed option is Dark Knight. While the name of the other variant has not yet been revealed, it appears to feature a blue checkered texture finish on the back.
