iQOO 15R confirmed to feature 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED Eyecare display, ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor and IP68 & IP69 rating

The smartphone brand iQOO will be introducing its iQOO 15R smartphone on 24th February in India, and in the past few days, the company has teased various new details of this upcoming smartphone.
Today, the brand has shared some new details related to the iQOO 15R device.

With the AMOLED Eyecare Display, iQOO 15R is built for clarity that lasts beyond the first glance.
With 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 5000 nits brightness, visuals stay sharp, smooth, and easy on the eyes.

The smartphone features a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED Eyecare display that offers 5000 nits local peak brightness. There is Eye Protection Mode 2.0 that offers features like- Sleep Mode for users that intelligently adjusts colour temperature at night to reduce interference with melatonin production, 1 nit sleep screen that stays clear even at extremely low brightness, colour temperature range for dry eye comfort, and motion prompts that use dynamic visual cues to relieve discomfort by 87%. The display comes with HDR10+ support and an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor.
The Amazon microsite of this device reveals that it will arrive with IP68 & IP69 dust and water resistance. The connectivity features include Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and IR Blaster.
Previous reports revealed that the smartphone will arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, the Q2 Super Computing Chip, a dedicated network enhancement chip for improved connectivity, a 6.5K Ice Core VC cooling system, a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary rear camera with OIS support, 4 OS upgrades+ 6 years of security updates, a 7,600mAh battery, and 100W Flash Charge.
