iQOO 15R 5G with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and 6.5K Ice Core VC Cooling System launched in India
The smartphone brand iQOO has finally introduced its all-new iQOO 15R 5G smartphone in the Indian market.

The smartphone features a 6.59-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED Eyecare display that offers 5000 nits local peak brightness and 3200Hz Instant touch sampling rate. There is Eye Protection Mode 2.0 that offers features like- Sleep Mode for users that intelligently adjusts colour temperature at night to reduce interference with melatonin production, 1 nit sleep screen that stays clear even at extremely low brightness, colour temperature range for dry eye comfort, and motion prompts that use dynamic visual cues to relieve discomfort by 87%. The display comes with HDR10+ support and an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC (3.5Mn+ AnTuTu score) paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It is equipped with a dedicated network enhancement chip and a Q2 Super Computing Chip. It arrives with a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main camera with OIS support and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the rear side, while there is a 32MP selfie camera (90-degree wide-angle support). It will boast features like NICE Camera Algorithm, Super Night Mode, Portrait Mode, multifocal portrait, upgraded Live Photo, while the smartphone will support 4K 60fps video recording with OIS.
The device features a 6.5K Ice Core VC Cooling system, backed by a 7600 mAh battery and supports 100W flash charge and advanced bypass charging. The smartphone can be charged up to 50% in 33 minutes. It arrives with an IP68 & IP69 rating, Bluetooth 6.0, WiFi 7, NFC, and IR Blaster. It is 7.90 mm thin.
With Origin OS 6, users will get to see features like One-Tap Transfer on both Android & iOS, Private Space and Origin Island. The cross-device connectivity features include cross-device file transfer, screen mirroring and remote PC Access. The smartphone will boast AI features like AI Four Season, AI Magic Move, AI UHD, AI Erase, AI Reflection Erase, AI Captions and AI Image Expander. It is claimed to receive 4 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
Gaming features- manual video recording, 144fps game frame interpolation, hardware-level game eye protection, Gaming HyperSense Audio and ultra-stable frame rate. It is claimed to offer a 5-year smooth, reliable experience.

The official sale for pre-book users will start on 2nd March at 10 AM, while for the non-pre-book users, the sale will start from 3rd March at 12 PM.
