iQOO 15 officially confirmed to launch in India next month; iQOO 15 display specs teased in China

iQOO 15 will be making its official debut this month in the Chinese market on 20th October, and along with this, the company will also be introducing iQOO TWS 5, iQOO Watch GT 2, and iQOO Pad 5e gadgets in the country. iQOO 15 was also teased to launch soon in the Indian market.

Recently, the microsite for iQOO 15 also went live on iQOO India’s website. Today, iQOO India’s CEO, Nipun Marya, officially announced that the iQOO 15 smartphone will be making its debut in India next month.

The device is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. It will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The brand is expected to tease some more details regarding this upcoming variant in the coming days. In the above teaser image, a luminous orange light can be seen around the rear camera module.

Other than this, iQOO has also officially teased the display features of the iQOO 15 Chinese variant.

The device will feature a 2K Samsung M14 LEAD OLED 8T LTPO display that offers 144Hz high refresh rate, 6000 nits local peak brightness, 2600 nits full screen peak brightness, full-brightness DC dimming, and 1000 nits manual peak brightness. The display comes with AR Anti-reflective film, 1nit sleep screen, TUV Rheinland indusrty’s first flicker free certification, hardware level gaming eye protection- Eye Protection 2.0. The non-polarized natural light display presents the same unpolarized light as natural light.

iQOO 15 Chinese variant is already confirmed to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, Warhammer MAX dual-axis motor, War Drum Master Pro, QNSS super rendering engine, Universal Esports Network System 2.0, brand’s largest ever 8K VC Dome cooling system, e-sports chip Q3, 2K + 144Hz super-resolution super-frames concurrency, and Soaring Cloud Edition/Legend Edition/Wilderness Edition/Track Edition color choices.
