iQOO is expected to soon unveil its iQOO 15 smartphone in the Chinese market. The pre-reservation for the smartphone has already started in China, and the brand has already started sharing the details about this upcoming device.

iQOO 15: Display features officially confirmed

iQOO 15 is officially confirmed to feature a 2K Samsung Everest Display that combines 2K LEAD OLED technology and the world’s first M14 luminescent material. According to Vivo Labs’ evaluation, compared with the previous generation product, the luminous efficiency of the new Everest screen has increased by 40%, power consumption has been reduced by 44%, the service life has been extended by 50% and the smear phenomenon has been reduced by 60%.

LEAD is the world’s first commercial non-polarized OLED technology launched by Samsung and iQOO. It makes the screen display more transparent and also allows the color gamut coverage to reach 1.8 times the P3 color gamut area. Due to these technologies, the display of iQOO 15 is said to be brighter, clearer, and provide a more outstanding visual experience.

The 6.85-inch 2K Samsung Everest display, combined with these technologies, is revealed to offer 6000 nits local peak brightness, 2600 nits full screen brightness, 144Hz refresh rate, 3200Hz instant touch rate, 8T LTPO, ultra low motion blur, triple TUV certifications (flicker-free, polarizer-free, and gaming eye protection), and supports Eye Comfort 2.0 and 1 nit ultra-dim sleep mode.

According to tipster @UniverseIce, Samsung’s luminous material M14 will also be used in the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone.
