Huawei to unveil its next tri-fold smartphone- Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master on 4th September in China

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei was rumored to unveil the Huawei Mate XT 2 in the market, but the latest announcement by the company now confirms that the next tri-fold device launched will be called Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master.

As officially announced by Huawei, the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master will be launching in China on 4th September at 2:30 PM.

The teaser image suggests that the tri-fold smartphone will arrive in a Purple color option. Since the launch is scheduled for next week, Huawei may reveal some more details related to this upcoming device in the next few days.

Previously, Huawei’s next-generation tri-fold device received the Telecommunications Equipment License from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. It was assumed that this was the Huawei Mate XT 2, but it seems like this is the Huawei Mate XTs. The database revealed that the tri-fold device will support 2G/3G/4G/5G network, Tiantong satellite communication, 5G enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), and run on HarmonyOS operating system.

Reports suggest that the upcoming device could be powered by Kirin 9020 SoC and feature a 50MP new primary camera supporting variable aperture + periscope telephoto camera. Stay tuned with The Tech Outlook for more latest updates.
