Huawei Nova 15 Series – Scheduled to Launch on 22nd December 2025 in China
At the Nova 15 Series and All Scenario New Product Launch Event which will be conducted on the 22nd of December 2025 at 2:30 PM local time in China, Huawei is going to unveil its Nova 15 series smartphone models, and the brand has used the tagline – ‘Super super super cool’ to address it. The pre-order for the latest Nova 15 series is also now live, and interested Chinese customers can book it via the Huawei Online Store, authorized e-commerce platforms, Huawei Experience Store, and also through other authorized retails stores.
Speaking more, the Chinese actor and singer – Jackson Yee from TF Boys will be the global ambassador for this time’s Nova 15 series too, and he can be seen holding the Vibrant Green color variant of the Huawei Nova 15 Ultra in the teaser poster that has been shared. Versatile Purple, Zero-Degree White, and Phantom Black are its other color variants, and all of them have been revealed in the teasers.
In terms of design, the Nova 15 Ultra has also adopted an iPhone 17-series like camera module. The rectangular-shaped horizontally-placed camera module is there at the top, and even though projected, it has been neatly blended onto the rear panel. Within the camera module, two internal circular units can be spotted. The projected left one houses the three camera sensors that are positioned like the three corners of a triangle. Inside the right inner circular unit, an LED flashlight is given, and the marking ‘XD Portrait’ confirms that the device is equipped with Huawei’s XD Portrait Engine. Added sensors can also be found along the right inner circular unit.
The rear panel of both the Zero-Degree White and Phantom Black color variants have a matte finish, while the Vibrant Green and Versatile Purple color variants have lined patterns. The side-panels of the Zero-Degree White and Phantom Black color variants also have a matte brushed texture, while it is glossy on the Vibrant Green and Versatile Purple color variants.
Huawei Nova 15 and Nova 15 Pro – Color Variants Also Leaked
Tipster Digital Chat Stations has also revealed the color variants for the Huawei Nova 15 and the Huawei Nova 15 Pro smartphones as well. The pro model is also suggested to feature a similar design when compared to the ultra model. It also has a rectangular-like shaped rear camera module, with two inner circular camera units. The left circular unit has the three camera sensors, while the right one occupies the dual-tone LED flash and an added sensor. Its display is also flat, with thin symmetrical bezels on all four sides. A pill-shaped unit is also there on the display with two selfie cameras. Purple, White, Green, and Black color choices can be expected for the device, and while the Black color variant comes with a matte finish, the other colorways have lined patterns on the rear.
Regarding the standard Huawei Nova 15 smartphone device, the same Purple (rear panel with lined patterns), White (rear panel with lined patterns), Green (rear panel with lined patterns), and Black (rear panel with matte finish) color choices will be offered as per the tipster, and the device sports the same camera module that was there on its predecessor. Seemingly, there could be three camera sensors, as well as two LED flashlights. Again, its display is flat with thin symmetrical bezels, and the device also has a centrally-placed punch-hole selfie camera unit.
Huawei Nova 15 Series – Expected Chipsets
As per an X post from tipster @ZionsAnvin, Huawei’s Nova 15 and Nova 15 Pro are said to use the brand’s own Kirin 8020 chip, whereas the Nova 15 Ultra could be powered either by the Kirin 9010S chip or Kirin 9020A chip.
