Huawei Nova 15 Series Featuring Kirin 8020/Kirin 9010S Officially Debuts in China: Sale From 25th December 2025
The leading Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker – Huawei has now introduced the latest Nova 15 series smartphones in its home market. In two days, the official sale of these devices will also be commencing in the country.

Huawei Nova 15
The latest Huawei Nova 15 smartphone is powered by the brand’s own Kirin 8020 chip, and it runs on the HarmonyOS 6.0 operating system. Two storage options are available for the device, and Chinese customers will be able to get it in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. In terms of its battery aspects, a 6000mAh battery is packed within it, and the device supports 100W wired charging + 5W reverse wired charging.
For its display, an LTPO OLED panel is featured, and it has a screen size of 6.7″, aspect ratio of 20:9, resolution of 1084 x 2412 pixels, and refresh rate of 120Hz. Additionally, an aluminosilicate glass protection has also been given on the device. On the camera side, 50MP (main, wide) + 12MP (telephoto, 3x optical zoom, OIS) dual rear cameras as well as a 50MP (ultra-wide) front-facing camera are there.
Other key specs of the device include the 2G/3G/4G/5G network, WiFi 7 with dual-band support, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB-C 2.0, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, IP65-rating, 7.2mm thickness, and 196gm weight. It is offered in White, Purple, Green, and Black color choices.
Huawei Nova 15 Pro
About Huawei’s Nova 15 Pro, it comes equipped with the more powerful Kirin 9010S chipset, and is also pre-installed with the HarmonyOS 6.0 operating system. In the Chinese market, customers are being offered the 256GB and 512GB storage options of the device. A larger 6500mAh battery is backed on the device, and it supports both 100W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging features.
It has a larger 6.84″ LTPO OLED display, with 1320 x 2856 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 4000nits peak brightness. The display also has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of about 90.4%. Aluminosilicate glass protection is also given on the device, and there are variants with Kunlun Glass too. At the rear, a 50MP (wide) + 12MP (telephoto, 3x optical zoom, OIS) + 13MP (ultra-wide, 120° field-of-view) triple camera system is featured and for selfies, it sports the same 50MP (ultra-wide) front-facing camera.
Notably, 2G/3G/4G/5G network, WiFi 7 with dual-band support, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB-C 2.0, under-display optical fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, IP65-rating, 6.9mm thickness, and 202gm weight are also its other key specs. White, Purple, Green, and Black color choices are also being offered for the device.
Huawei Nova 15 Ultra
Speaking of the top-end Huawei Nova 15 Ultra, it has the Kirin 9010S chip within the device, and it will also be offering the HarmonyOS 6.0 operating system out of the box. Storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB are also available for the device. It also packs a 6500mAh battery, and supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 7.5W reverse wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging.
On the display side, it features a 6.84″ LTPO OLED display and offers 1320 x 2856 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 4000nits peak brightness. Moreover, Kunlun Glass protection is there on the device too. For its cameras, the device sports a triple camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera (wide), 50MP periscope telephoto camera (3.7x optical zoom, OIS), and a 50MP ultra-wide camera (118° field-of-view). Also, a front-facing camera of 50MP (ultra-wide) is there on the device as well.
Specs like 2G/3G/4G/5G network, BDS satellite calling + messaging, WiFi 7 with dual-band support, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB-C 2.0, under-display optical fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, IP68/69-rating, 6.8mm thickness, and 209gm weight are also part of the latest device. The same color choices of White, Purple, Green, and Black are also being offered.
Pricing and Availability
Regarding the price points, the standard Huawei Nova 15 carries price tags of CNY 2699 and CNY 2999 respectively for the 256GB and 512GB storage options. The 256GB, 256GB Kunlun Glass, and 512GB Kunlun Glass variants are respectively priced at CNY 3499, CNY 3599, and CNY 3899. For the Huawei Nova 15 Ultra, customers can get the 256GB Kunlun Glass, 512GB Kunlun Glass, and 1TB Basalt-Tempered Kunlun Glass variants at prices of CNY 4199, CNY 4499, and CNY 4999 respectively. One-year and two-year Huawei Care+ subscriptions are also available for the Huawei Nova 15 series smartphones.
The official sale for all the Huawei Nova 15 series smartphones will be commencing on the 25th of December 2025, at 10:08 AM local time, and Chinese customers will be able to get the newly-debuted Huawei Nova 15, Huawei Nova 15 Pro, and Huawei Nova 15 Ultra smartphones via Huawei Mall, Huawei Experience Stores, authorized e-commerce platforms, and authorized retailers.
