Following the reveal of the Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Display Edition (2025), Huawei is preparing to bring another tablet to India. The Huawei MatePad SE 11, which was launched globally in 2024, has now appeared on Flipkart, revealing its specifications and pricing details ahead of its official debut.

As per the listing, the tablet comes with the same specifications as the global variant. It features an 11-inch TFT LCD HD+ display with 400 nits of brightness. The display also includes eye comfort features such as 4096-level brightness adjustment for smoother lighting, full-range DC dimming to reduce flicker, and an eBook mode for easier reading. It is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light (hardware-based) and flicker-free performance.
In terms of design, the tablet has a metal unibody build, weighs around 475 g, and measures 6 mm in thickness. Huawei says the device has passed over 60 reliability tests, with stiffness increased by 45.2%.
The MatePad SE 11 is powered by the Kirin 710A chipset and comes in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. There is no support for microSD card expansion. It runs on HarmonyOS 2 and does not support Google Mobile Services (GMS), so the Google Play Store and Google apps are not available. Instead, users can install apps through Huawei’s AppGallery.
For cameras, the tablet has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It packs a 7700 mAh battery with 22.5W charging support, which is claimed to last a full day on a single charge. It also features four speakers with Huawei Histen 9.0 audio.
Other features include stylus support, multi-screen and multi-window support, and a Kids Corner mode with BabyBus content such as educational games, stories, and nursery rhymes. Parents can also set screen time limits and control which apps and content are accessible.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.1, and the device supports Wi-Fi only.
Pricing and Availability
For pricing, the Flipkart listing shows ₹18,499, while a banner suggests a starting price of ₹13,749, including bank offers that have not been revealed yet. There is no information on availability at the moment, as neither the microsite nor the listing mentions a sale date.
