Huawei Mate 80 series and Mate X7 confirmed to launch in China on 25th November; Huawei MatePad Edge said to launch at the same event

The Chinese manufacturer Huawei has today officially announced that the Huawei Mate 80 series and Huawei Mate X7 will be launching next week in its home country, China. Meanwhile, the company is also said to unveil a new tablet alongside these smartphones.

Huawei Mate 80 series & Huawei Mate X7: Launching next week in China

The Huawei Mate 80 series and Huawei Mate X7 devices are officially confirmed to launch in China on 25th November at 14:30 (local time).

The Huawei Mate 80 series will include Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and Mate 80 RS Master models. The pre-orders for these devices have already started in China via Huawei Mall, Huawei experience stores, authorized e-commerce, and authorized retailers.

The listing of these devices officially confirms their storage options and color variants. Huawei Mate 80 arrives in Obsidian Black, Snowy White, Spruce Green, and Dawn Gold color options, and there are three storage options: 12/256GB, 12/512GB, and 16/512GB. Huawei Mate 80 Pro arrives in Obsidian Black, Snowy White, Dawn Gold, and Spruce Green variants, and there will be four storage options: 12 GB/256GB, 12 GB/512GB, 16 GB/512 GB, and 16GB/1TB. Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max arrives in Polar Night Black, Polar Silver, Polar Day Gold, and Aurora Blue colors, and there will be two storage options: 16 GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB. Huawei Mate 80 RS Master edition comes in Dark black, Pure white, and Hibiscus color options, and there will be two storage options: 20GB/512GB and 20GB/1TB.

Huawei Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro feature a triple rear camera setup, while Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max and Mate 80 RS Master edition feature a quad-camera setup on the rear side.

Apart from the Huawei Mate 80 series and Mate X7, the company is also tipped to unveil its MatePad Edge tablet alongside these smartphones.

Huawei MatePad Edge: Specs (expected)

This 2-in-1 tablet is said to feature a 14.2-inch OLED display. It may be powered by a Kirin 9-series SoC and could arrive with support for a keyboard and stylus. It will run on HarmonyOS. It is said that this upcoming tablet will be the upgraded version of the MateBook E in a 2-in-1 form factor. The tablet could arrive in Moonlight Silver and Space Gray colors, while there may be two storage options: 16 GB/512GB and 24GB/1TB. A matte screen edition for the device is also said to be made available for Chinese consumers.

Regarding, Huawei Mate X7, the company has not revealed any details yet, but it may reveal the design and some specs in the next few days. Since this smartphone will be arriving as the successor to the Huawei Mate X6 foldable device, we may see some improvements and upgrades.
