Honor is back again with a new smartphone for the Indian market, the Honor X7c 5G. Its banner is now live on Amazon India, revealing the moniker and some key specs, though the launch date has not been mentioned at the time of writing. Hopefully, this time it will launch on schedule. Back in February, the brand had teased the launch of the Honor X9c 5G for the Indian market. While many in the leakosphere claimed it would launch that month, the banners on Amazon were quietly removed, only to reappear in June, with the device finally launching in July.
In May, HTech’s former CEO, Madhav Sheth, assured that Honor India isn’t leaving the market or merging with any other brand. A month earlier, he had also revealed plans for Honor to bring five new smartphones to the Indian market. However, more recently, the “Explore Honor India Fan Club” Telegram channel was allegedly renamed to “Alcatel India Community,” sparking fresh speculation. Naturally, this has left many Honor fans in India still unsure about the brand’s future.
The Honor X7c 5G has already been launched globally, and the specifications listed match those shown on Amazon India.

The Honor X7c 5G has been listed on Amazon India, revealing its key specifications and features. The device comes with a 5-star drop resistance rating and IP64-rated splash and dust resistance. It packs a 5200mAh battery, offering up to 24 hours of video streaming, 18 hours of gaming, 59 hours of music playback, and 46 hours of calls, along with an Ultra Power-Saving Mode. The phone is equipped with 16GB RAM equivalent (including RAM Turbo technology) and 256GB of internal storage.
It features dual stereo speakers with a high-volume mode of up to 300%, and a 50MP ultra-clear main camera. The display offers an adaptive brightness range for both daylight and low-light use. Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, the device runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 and includes features such as Magic Capsule, quick access tools, and three-finger swipe bookmarks. The Honor X7c 5G will be available in two colour options — Forest Green and Moonlight White.
