Honor X5c and X5c Plus with 6.74-inch TFT LCD Display, MediaTek Helio G81, and MagicOS 9.0 launched
Both Honor X5c and X5c Plus were recently spotted on a certification website, hinting at an imminent launch. Well, now both smartphones have been officially launched. And to be quite honest, both come with almost identical specifications, with the only differences being in the rear camera setup, memory options, and available colours.
Honor X5c and X5c Plus Specs and Features
Both smartphones feature a 6.74-inch TFT LCD with Eye Comfort/Dynamic Dimming, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 720 × 1600 resolution.
Under the hood, both are powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, paired with up to 4GB + 4GB (virtual RAM) and up to 128GB of internal storage.
Although both models have a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash, the Honor X5c features a 13MP AI main camera along with a 0.08MP QVGA secondary sensor. In contrast, the Honor X5c Plus offers a 50MP main camera and a 0.08MP QVGA sensor. On the front, both house a 5MP selfie shooter.
Both the Honor X5c and X5c Plus pack a 5,260mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. Connectivity options include dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, and 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Pricing and Availability
Both the Honor X5c and the Honor X5c Plus have been launched in the South African market.
The Honor X5c has been listed in four colour options of Ocean Cyan, Tidal Blue, Meteor Silver, and Midnight Black — with two memory variants: 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB on the Honor Global website. However, in South Africa, it is available in two colour options — Tidal Blue and Midnight Black — with a single 4GB + 64GB variant priced at SAR 299.
Meanwhile, the Honor X5c Plus is offered in two colours of Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black — and comes in a single 4GB + 128GB variant, priced at SAR 329.00.
