Honor Power 2 Smartphone’s MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite Chip and AnTuTu Score Teased; Honor Power 2 Snowman Airbag Stand Also Announced
Early next week, Honor’s Power 2 smartphone is set to break its cover in the Chinese market and the brand has already dropped several teaser updates concerning this upcoming device. Now, via its Weibo handle, the brand has again confirmed the chipset that will be used by this smartphone, and has also announced the Honor Power 2 Snowman Airbag Stand. Its AnTuTu performance score has also been revealed.

Honor Power 2 – New Teasers Dropped
As per the newly-shared details, the Honor Power 2 smartphone has now been teased to hit the market with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite chip (as revealed earlier on China Telecom website), and it is claimed to be the first device in the industry to feature it. Additionally, the brand has also confirmed that on the AnTuTu benchmark, Honor’s Power 2 smartphone has achieved an overall performance score of over 2.4 million points, and it is thus said to be the top performing phone of its price range.
Speaking more, as part of New Year 2026, the Honor Power 2 Snowman Airbag Stand has also been announced as an ‘adorable winter limited edition’ product. Interested customers can get it by taking a picture with a snowman and sharing it online, along with the hashtag – ‘#HonorPower2#’. To receive it, they just have to visit an Honor Store.
Looking into previous updates, this upcoming device is teased to feature a 10,080mAh large battery, 80W wired + 27W wireless charging capabilities, 2nd-generation Hongyan communication system, exquisitely crafted cold-carved matte metal frame, and offer IP68/IP69/IP69K-rated full-level dust and water resistance. Additionally, the China Telecom website has also pointed out features like the 6.79″ display, 50MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 16MP selfie camera, Android 16-based MagicOS 10.0 custom skin, fingerprint scanner, 2G/3G/4G network, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB-C, proximity sensor, light sensor, and gravity sensor as well.
Three color variants can be expected for the device, and customers will be able to get it in Phantom Black, Rising Sun Orange, and Snowfield White colors. Storage options of 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB can also be expected. About its launch, it is scheduled to take place on the 5th of January 2026, next week.
