Honor Power 2 confirmed to launch on 5th January in China; Colour options, battery and charging details teased

The Chinese manufacturer Honor has recently introduced its Honor WIN smartphone series in its home country, China, and now the company is heading towards the launch of a new smartphone in the country called Honor Power 2.

Recently, the renders of this upcoming device were shared online, and today, Honor has officially announced that the Honor Power 2 smartphone will be launching in China on 5th January at 19:30.

The device will arrive in Sunrise Orange, Snow White, and Midnight Black colour options. The Snow White variant features a textured design. The device comes with an exquisitely crafted matte metal frame and is integrated with a cold-carving process.

The smartphone will be backed by a 10,080 mAh Qinghai Lake battery, and it supports 80W SuperCharge and 27W reverse charging. It offers 20.3 hours of continuous screen-on use, 21 hours of short video playback, and 14.2 hours of gaming. It is teased to be the first phone to break the 10,000-Yuan battery barrier.

The device is also the first phone to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite SoC. The alleged Geekbench listing of this device revealed features like ARM Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, Android 16 OS, and 12GB RAM option. A 6.79″ 1.5K flat OLED display, 50MP main camera, and 16MP front camera are also expected for the device. In the coming days, Honor may tease some new details of this upcoming device.
