Honor launched the Honor Play 70 Plus in the first week of August in its home country, China, and a new or rather just an exact copy of it, the Honor Play 70m Plus, has now been launched in China. Looking at the spec sheet and the design, the Honor Play 70m Plus is an exact replica of the Play 70 Plus, and even the model number “LOG-AN00” is the same. However, while the Honor Play 70 Plus comes in four colour options, the Play 70m Plus is launched in two colour options, Phantom Night Black and Jade Dragon Snow. These two options are among the four already available for the Play 70 Plus.
Pricing and Availability
The memory options are also the same: 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. However, the Honor Play 70m Plus 5G is 200 yuan costlier than the Play 70 Plus. The Honor Play 70m Plus 5G base variant is priced at 1,599 yuan, while the 12GB+512GB variant costs 1,799 yuan.
Although it is currently listed on the Honor China official website, it is not yet available for purchase, and the website does not mention when sales will begin.
Honor Play 70m Plus 5G Specs
Just like the Honor Play 70 Plus, it features a 6.77-inch TFT LCD HD+ display (1610×720) with 700 nits brightness, eye protection, and aluminosilicate glass for durability. Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 (a rebranded Snapdragon 695 5G) paired with an Adreno A619 GPU.
It runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 and supports features like face unlock, app cloning, e-book mode, smart capsule, and knuckle screenshots. The rear houses a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8, 1080P video, 8x digital zoom), while the front has a 5MP selfie shooter (1080P recording, gesture and voice-activated modes).
It packs a 7,000mAh battery with fast wired charging. Other features include stereo speakers, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, dual nano-SIM slots, 4×4 MIMO antenna, and multi-GNSS positioning (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou).
