Honor Pad X8b launched with 11″ TFT LCD (IPS) 90Hz Display, Snapdragon 680 SoC in Saudi Arabia
Honor has launched a new tablet called the Honor Pad X8b in the Saudi Arabian market. It comes with Snapdragon 680 4G SoC, which is a 4-year-old chipset launched back in October 2021. But the good thing is, it runs on MagisOS 10, based on Android 16 OS.

Honor Pad X8b – Specs and Features
It comes with an 11″ TFT LCD (IPS) Eye Comfort FullView Display, which offers up to 90 Hz of refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness in Sunlight mode. The display comes with HONOR Eye Comfort Display Technologies that offer eBook mode and Dynamic Dimming. Plus, it is also TÜV Rheinland certified for blue light and flicker-free.
Under the hood, it comes with a 4-year-old Snapdragon 680 4G chipset paired with an Adreno 610 GPU and runs on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. However, while the specs section mentions the LTE version, the buy now page only lists the Wi-Fi variant with a single memory option of 4GB+128GB. But you also get an expandable memory option via microSD card up to 2TB.
Both at the rear and at the front, it features a 5MP camera. It packs a 10,100 mAh battery, which has smart energy preservation, and Honor claims you can get up to 97 days of standby time. It is lightweight, weighs about 499 g, and is 7.25 mm thin.
Honor also states that they have improved the chassis strength by 90% compared to the Honor Pad X8a and have also received Drop Resistance Certification and Crush Resistance Certification from Switzerland SGS.
For kids, you can turn on the parental lock, giving parents more freedom on what they want their kids to see and for how many hours.
It features 4 speakers, which are enhanced by the independently developed HONOR Sound algorithm.
Pricing and Availability
It is available currently in Saudi Arabia in a single colour and memory option of space grey and Wifi 4GB+128GB, which is priced at SAR 649 (~$173.10).
Regarding its launch in other regions, Honor hasn’t shared any details on it yet.
