Honor Magic V6 launching in China on 10th March; Teased to arrive with 64MP periscope telephoto lens, 7150 mAh battery, IP68/IP69 rating and more

The Chinese manufacturer Honor recently unveiled its latest foldable device, Honor Magic V6, in the global market, though the availability details have not been announced. The company has now confirmed that this foldable smartphone will launch in the Chinese market on 10th March.

Honor has also teased various new features of the Honor Magic V6 ahead of its China debut.
Honor Magic V6: New features teased
The smartphone will arrive in Red Hare Red, Sunrise Gold, Snow white and Velvet black colours. The device is backed by a 7150 mAh (6660 mAh battery in the global variant) Qinghai Lake Blade battery with an ultra-high silicon content of 32% and an energy density of 985Wh/L. It has an 8.75mm-thick body and weighs 219g.
The device features a new-generation Honor Luban shield tunnel steel hinge. This is the industry’s first 2800MPa shield steel that comes with 99.99% ultra-pure smelting for 3150-ton large-tonnage forging.
The display arrives with Swiss SGS certification (500,000 fold lifespan), five-star drop resistance, no perceptible creases, TUV Rheinland certification (24-hour battery life for the inner screen), global eye protection and 1.5% ultra-low reflectivity. It comes with IP68 & IP69 dust and water resistance.
The smartphone features a 64MP periscope telephoto lens that comes with CIPA 6.5 image stabilisation level. It boasts an ultimate black diamond screen (external) that features four-in-one coating technology: 10x drop-resistant, 15x scratch-resistant, 3x more wear-resistant and 3x anti-reflective. The inner screen comes with ultra-low reflective AR film, newly upgraded ultra-tough UTG and super-strong carbon fiber support layer. It is said that the crease lines on the inner display are 44% better than those of the previous generation.
The Honor Magic V6 phone’s ADR Display Technology, co-developed with iQIYI, enhances video dynamic range by up to 500%. The external screen comes with a 1.18mm ultra-narrow bezel and 94.17% screen-to-body ratio.
