Honor Magic 8 Series Display Specs Officially Teased Ahead of its Launch: Chip-Level De-Focus Eye Protection Technology, 6000 nits HDR Peak Brightness, and More Revealed
The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker – Honor has already confirmed its next product launch conference and it is scheduled to take place next week in its home market. Many of its latest products are going to be unveiled at this upcoming event, and Honor’s Magic 8 series smartphones are among the latest devices that will be launched. Now, following all the previous updates, the brand has now teased the Honor Magic 8 series display specs.

As per the newly-shared teaser update, Honor’s Magic 8 series will be offering an enhanced eye protection, thanks to the newly-incorporated chip-level de-focus eye protection technology that assures an ultra-comfortable viewing experience through out the day. With supported AI-features, the display of the Honor Magic 8 series is also revealed to offer the strongest eye protection. Super eye color and the TUV Rheinland global eye-protection 5.0 certification are also its notable display aspects. Furthermore, an up to 6000 nits HDR peak brightness is also supported on the device.
Speaking more, Honor will be conducting its next product launch conference on the 15th of October 2025 in China, and the event will be marking the launch of the Honor Magic 8 series smartphones, Honor MagicPad 3 series tablets, Honor Watch 5 Pro smartwatch, and the Honor Earbuds 4. Regarding the Honor Magic 8 series, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and is revealed to support 90W/120W wired fast charging. It was also recently teased to feature the CIPA 5.5 image stabilization, Honor Nox Engine, and a 200MP telephoto lens (with 1/1.4″ sensor size and f/2.6 ultra large aperture). Additionally, we have also spotted the smartphones from the Honor Magic 8 series on the 3C and AnTuTu databases as well.
