Honor Magic 8 Series and Honor MagicPad 3 Pro confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC; Launching next month in China

Qualcomm has officially unveiled its much-awaited Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC today, and it was expected that soon brands will be unveiling their flagship devices equipped with this latest chip. Realme has already confirmed that the Realme GT 8 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.

And now, the Chinese manufacturer Honor has also officially confirmed the launch of its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered devices.

Honor Magic 8 series and Honor Magic Pad 3 Pro will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The devices will be launching next month in the Chinese market.

Honor Magic 8’s design is also officially revealed by the company. The device comes in a blue color option. It features a circular rear camera module in the middle. The right side includes power and volume buttons, while there is also a button below the power button.

Honor Magic Pad 3 Pro is revealed to arrive in a Beige color option. There is a square camera module on the rear side that houses two camera sensors and an LED flash.

Honor’s Magic 8 series is expected to offer four smartphone models in total: Honor Magic 8, Honor Magic 8 Pro, Honor Magic 8 Mini, and Honor Magic 8 Ultra. Both the standard and pro models are expected to launch in October, whereas the mini and ultra models are likely scheduled to launch early next year in 2026.
