Honor Magic 8 Pro Air confirmed to launch in China on 19th January; Colour and Storage options revealed via JD.com

The launch of Honor Magic 8 Pro Air was recently teased in China, and it was assumed that the company would soon announce the launch of this device in the country.
As expected, Honor has today officially confirmed that the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air smartphone will launch in the Chinese market on 19th January.

The side profile of this smartphone is teased in the above image, which reveals a slim body, while the volume and power buttons can be seen on the right side. There is another button that could be the AI key. Previous leaks suggested that the device could arrive with an iPhone Air-like camera module.

The pre-orders for this device have already started via JD.com. The device is listed with Black, White, Purple, and Orange colour options and is revealed to arrive with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. It was listed with model number LDY-AN00.
The upcoming device is expected to measure just 6.3mm in thickness and weigh around 158g. It may sport a 6.3-inch flat OLED display that offers 1.5K screen resolution. It could run on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. The MediaTek Dimensity 9500k chipset is expected to power this device. It may be backed by a 5,500 mAh battery and support 90W fast charging. There are also rumours about a telephoto camera on this device.
Honor is expected to soon start teasing the key features of this upcoming smartphone.
In related news, Honor Magic 8 RSR is also expected to make its debut soon, and if rumours are to be believed, this device could launch alongside Honor Magic 8 Pro Air, though the company has not made any announcement yet.
