Honor has been teasing the launch of the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air and Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design for its home market, China. Now, the launch date has finally been confirmed.
As per details shared by Honor on its official Weibo account, the company will launch the duo on 19th January 2026. Furthermore, the microsite for the devices is already live on JD.com, revealing additional information.

Starting with the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air, the JD.com microsite reveals that the device will be available in four colour options: Shadow Black, Feather White, Fairy Purple, and Light Orange (translated from Chinese to English). It also confirms that pre-reservations have now begun. The model number listed is LDY-AN00, which was previously spotted on the 3C certification, confirming 90W fast charging support. The microsite further reveals that the smartphone will be offered in four memory variants: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. According to the brand’s listing, the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air weighs 155g, measures 6.1mm in thickness, and features a 6.31-inch display.

Based on earlier reports and leaks, the upcoming device is expected to measure around 6.3mm in thickness and weigh approximately 158g. It may feature a 6.3-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and could run MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. The MediaTek Dimensity 9500K chipset is expected to power the device, and it may pack a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. There are also rumours suggesting that Honor could include a telephoto camera on the Magic 8 Pro Air.

Coming to the Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design, earlier rumours about its launch have turned out to be true, as it is now confirmed to debut alongside the Magic 8 Pro Air. The JD.com microsite confirms the model number as BKQ-AN20, which was previously spotted on the 3C certification, revealing support for 120W fast wired charging. The JD.com listing shows that the device will be offered in two colour options, Slate Lime and Moonstone, and in two memory variants: 16GB + 512GB and 24GB + 1TB. The teaser image further suggests that Honor has ditched the hexagonal camera module seen on earlier models and has adopted a new, more distinctive camera frame design for this generation.
