Honor 500 series memory options listed on Honor China website ahead of launch in China

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor has teased that the Honor 500 smartphone series will soon make its debut in its home country, China. Yesterday, the pre-orders for this upcoming series started across all channels in the country.

The Honor 500 series will include Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro models. Both models were revealed to be available in Aquamarine, Starlight Pink, Obsidian Black, and Moonlight Silver colour options.

The product page for the upcoming Honor 500 Pro model on Honor China’s website now reveals that the device will arrive with four storage options: 12/256GB, 16GB/1TB, 12/512GB, and 16/512GB. While Honor 500 is listed with three storage options: 12/256GB, 16/512GB, and 12/512GB.

The recent teasers revealed that both Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro models feature a horizontal pill-shaped camera module with two large circular camera cutouts. However, the Pro variant includes a third circular cutout that houses two sensors placed one above the other, with the LED flash positioned between the pair and the third cutout. In contrast, the Honor 500 has a third camera sensor and an LED flash placed vertically next to the two main circular cutouts, but these are not enclosed within any additional cutout. The official poster also hints at a “200-megapixel all-scenario live portrait” camera (translated from Chinese), suggesting that the Honor 500 Series may feature a 200MP portrait camera.
