Honor 500 series confirmed to be backed by an 8000mAh battery; Honor Watch X5 also launching on 24th November in China
The Chinese manufacturer Honor will be introducing its Honor 500 smartphone series in its home country, China, on 24th November. The series will include Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro smartphones, and lately, the brand has been teasing the key details of these devices.
Today, the company has revealed the battery details of this series and has also announced that, along with the Honor 500 series, Honor Watch X5 will also be making its debut in China.

Both Honor 500 series models will be powered by an 8000mAh Qinghai Lake-sized battery. With this battery capacity, users can enjoy 31 hours of continuous TikTok viewing and 12 hours of King of Glory.
Honor Watch X5 is also confirmed to launch in China on 24th November at 7:30 PM (local time) alongside the Honor 500 smartphone series.
The smartwatch features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display and a 1.8mm ultra-narrow bezel. The display offers an 82% screen-to-body ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. With these features, the smartwatch is said to provide a wide and immersive visual experience.
Coming to the previously revealed features of the Honor 500 series, the series is teased to arrive with a 200MP portrait camera. Honor 500 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, while the Pro variant will be powered by last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The series is revealed to arrive with color options: Aquamarine, Starlight Pink, Obsidian Black, and Moonlight Silver. The Honor 500 Pro will be available in four memory options, which include 12/256GB, 16GB/1TB, 12/512GB, and 16/512GB, while the standard Honor 500 will be offered in three options, which include 12/256GB, 16/512GB, and 12/512GB. From the 3C certification, it has also been confirmed that both models will support 80W fast wired charging.
