BOE X3 Display Officially Launched: Upcoming OnePlus 15 Flagship to Debut Featuring it

BOE x OnePlus just recently conducted its Flexible OLED Flagship Product Launch Event and the latest BOE X3 display was officially unveiled today in the Chinese market. The OnePlus 15 that is scheduled to debut this month in China is also officially confirmed to hit the market featuring this latest flagship display.

BOE’s Newly-Unveiled X3 Display Teased to Arrive on the OnePlus 15 Smartphone

The latest BOE X3 display that has now been unveiled has set nine new records with its notable features such as 165Hz high refresh rate, China’s only display production line, industry-leading full-scenario true hardware 1-nit dark night screen, industry-leading hardware-level low flicker, only Android display with sun and night visual capabilities, world’s first TUV Rheinland eye protection gold label certification, industry’s strongest 165Hz ultra-high frame rate gaming ecosystem, world’s first human color appearance, and industry-leading seven AI-powered active eye protection. Furthermore, it supports Android’s leading Motion Sickness Relief, AI Distance Reminder, and AI Blink Reminder.

Speaking more, OnePlus claims that the brand is focused in offering the best display experience to its users, and it was the OnePlus 7 Pro flagship that had brought a 90Hz refresh rate display first on a smartphone device back in 2019. The first generation oriental displays had the first domestically produced DisplayMate A+ screen, with 18 items show quality records, highest brightness on a 2K resolution screen, and 2x more lifespan. Following this, the second generation of oriental screens was the world’s first DisplayMate A++ screen, and this was also the first solar display, industry’s only true full brightness DC, and 8T LTPO latest circuit design. With the new BOE X3 display, OnePlus has once again teamed up with BOE to bring out the world’s very first 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate oriental screen. This latest innovation has marked the entry into the ultra-high refresh rate era, and the third generation leads the new standard for next generation flagship screens.

Display P3 exclusive self-developed screen chip, BOE-customized new X3 luminescent material, new generation circuit design, self-developed scientific screen production line, world’s first human factor color model, 9 self-developed display algorithms, exclusively customized enhanced drive technology, 1.15mm compressed screen edges are the 8 breakthroughs that can be seen on the upcoming OnePlus 15 smartphone that will be coming with the BOE X3 display. A 27% faster display speed and a 10ms reduced control response delay time are further gaming-oriented display specs.

About the other gaming aspects, a native 165Hz gaming experience will be offered on mainstream games. Garena Delta Force, Dark Zone Breakout, Call of Duty Mobile, League of Legends mobile game, and Naruto mobile game can also be played on the OnePlus 15 flagship at 165Hz native frames.

Also, for the first time, 165Hz refresh rate has been adopted for head-mounted graphic and text applications. Additionally, the 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate-supported oriental screen leads nine display indicators as well. The OnePlus and BOE customized display brings the state-of-the-art new bio-materials, high-end production line, all-round human factor orientation, 13% HBM improvement, optimized 11.8% color cast improvement, 10% improved battery efficiency, 30% improved lifespan. 121 leading process technologies, 39 leading tuning algorithms, and 3nm chip collaborative tuning are few aspects of the chip production line.

With respect to its competitors, it outperforms other Pro Max and Ultra competitors. Moreover, this display is the only 1-nit + PWM dimming strategy that has an SVM less than 0.12, making it the top in the LTPO industry, along with leading eye protection (equipped with seven AI-based active eye protection features).
