Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4) Tablet Key Features Shared: To Directly Compete Apple’s iPad mini

Lenovo’s next 4th generation Legion Y700 tablet is currently in work and as per what has now been revealed, the upcoming tablet will be taking its competition to the Apple iPad mini tablet this time. Via a new Weibo update, the brand has shared its key specs and features, pointing out that the small-screen tablet will be offering better gaming and media streaming experience.

Just like the last three models, the 4th Gen Lenovo Legion Y700 tablet will also be arriving featuring an 8.8″ display screen, and its 16:10 aspect ratio will be offering its users with a larger viewing area when compared with Apple’s iPad mini.

For a better performance, Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is also going to be equipped within the device, along with other performance related specs like a 12,000mm² copper VC cooling system, 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and an microSD card slot.

Regarding its battery, a 7600 mAh large battery will be present within the device, and it will be supporting a 68W wired fast charging feature. For an enhanced haptic feedback response, dual X-axis linear motors will also be present.

About its in-hand feel, it will be comfortable for long-term heavy use as it features a compact form factor design with 207.58mm length and 128.5mm width, and a weight of only 340gm. Black and White color variants may also be offered for the device.

In comparison to the iPad mini (7), the upcoming Lenovo Legion (Gen 4) model notably has a heat dissipation unit for delivering stable performance, better aspect ratio for an improved viewing experience, larger battery capacity for longer usage, and added dual X-axis linear motors for enhanced haptic response.
