Xiaomi Book Pro 14, Xiaomi Watch S5 and new generation SU7 launching in China on 19th March; Key features teased again
The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi recently teased the launch of the Xiaomi Book Pro 14 and Xiaomi Watch S5 in its home country, and the company has already revealed a few details about these devices.
Today, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will be officially unveiling the Xiaomi Book Pro 14, Xiaomi Watch S5 and the new generation Xiaomi SU7 on 19th March at 19:00 (local time in China) during the Xiaomi Spring New Product Launch event.
The company has also revealed the new features of these upcoming devices.

The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 features a 14.6-inch OLED display that offers 3.1K screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits peak brightness. It features a 129cm2 pressure-sensitive touch pad with support for quick gestures. It comes with dual hard drive bays with reserved expansion slots, a reserved M.2 2280 hard drive bay and supports up to 4TB capacity. All commonly used interfaces are available: 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4, 10Gbps full-featured USB-C, 5Gbps USB-A, HDMI 2.1 TDMS and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Xiaomi Watch S5 features a brand-new four-light, four-PD sensor array. The self-developed heart rate algorithm is upgraded to version 2.0, and heart rate accuracy is as high as 94%. The new Sleep Algorithm 2.0 improves sleep onset and wake-up accuracy by 11%. The motion positioning accuracy is improved by 33% with the new dual-frequency GNSS satellite positioning chip and support for satellite search and positioning for 5 major galaxy systems: BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS.
The smartwatch supports multi-dimensional health monitoring, including heart rate, stress and women’s health, while there is also support for 150+ sports modes. It is equipped with an 815mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery and offers 21-day battery life in Bluetooth usage and 14-day battery life in eSIM usage.
Coming to the new generation Xiaomi SU7, the standard CLTC has a range of 720km, the Pro version of the CLTC has a range of 902km, and the Max version of the CLTC has a range of 835km.
All models feature fast charging and utilise a silicon-carbon high-voltage platform:
- Standard version: Peak voltage 752V, 16-minute charging provides up to 450km of range, maximum charging rate is 3.5C.
- Pro version: Peak voltage 752V, 15-minute charging provides up to 490km of range, maximum charging rate is 3.5C.
- Max version: Peak voltage 897V, 15-minute charging provides up to 670km of range, maximum charging rate is 5.2C.
The new generation SU7 is equipped with V6s Plus Super Motor that increases the maximum speed to 22,000 rpm, and the overall efficiency of the electric drive CLTC is improved by 15%. The Max version comes with a peak power of 288 kW, and the Standard/Pro version comes with a peak power of 235 kW.
The entire range comes with 265mm wide rear tyres. All models come standard with a front double wishbone, rear five-link independent suspension and front four-piston fixed callipers. The SU7 comes with LiDAR and drive assistance features- 700 TOPS of computing power for assisted driving, 40mm wave radar and Xiaomi HAD (Xiaomi Driver Assistance). The 2200MPa Xiaomi super-strong steel is standard across the entire range.
The battery safety upgrade is also available for the new generation SU7: high-voltage insulation protection with up to 17 layers, the bottom of the battery pack has been upgraded with a bulletproof coating, and a new 1500MPa scratch-resistant crossbeam has been added to the front of the chassis.
For safety, there are 9 airbags and triple-redundant safety door handles across the entire range. There is silent double-layered laminated glass, upgraded seat comfort, top-tier sun protectiob and heat-insulating glass.
The new generation SU7 will be available in 9 exterior colours, 5 interior colours and 6 wheel designs.
