Xiaomi’s President, Lu Weibing, has today officially announced that the company will soon be introducing a new laptop in China- Xiaomi Book Pro 14. In 2023, the company launched the Xiaomi Book 14 laptop, and now, after three years, Xiaomi fans will get to see a Xiaomi-branded laptop.
While announcing the launch, Lu Weibing has also shared major features of this upcoming laptop.
Xiaomi Book Pro 14: Features revealed
This flagship laptop comes with an ultra-thin and light design. It adopts a new lightweight architecture and introduces three high-end lightweight materials: a unibody die-cast magnesium alloy (reducing weight by more than 30% compared to traditional aluminium alloy), a lighter yet stronger 3D hot-pressed high-strength carbon fibre back shell, and even the keyboard’s internal support plate has been upgraded from stainless steel to a lighter titanium alloy. It weighs 1.08kg.
The laptop is equipped with the latest generation Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, featuring advanced Intel 18A process technology, while the 12Xe super graphics deliver nearly 70% higher graphics performance, maintaining low power consumption. There is a massive 10000mm2 VC module with high speed, silent fan and a 3D airflow design that allows this ultra-thin laptop to deliver a performance far exceeding 50W.
4K video editing, complex effects rendering, edge model deployment, and smooth gameplay of 3.1K AAA games at 79 frames per second during breaks are available on this laptop. The 8B end-side model achieves 105% faster throughput than its predecessor.
It is revealed that details regarding the battery life and other features will be officially revealed over the next few days.
