Xiaomi Book Pro 14 features a 72Wh battery and a velvet magnesium alloy body; Xiaomi Watch S5 launching this month in China
The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 was recently teased to launch soon in the Chinese market, and the company has already started teasing the features of this upcoming laptop. The company has now revealed some new design details and battery features of this device.
Xiaomi Book Pro 14: Design details & battery features teased
The laptop features a velvet magnesium alloy body that is lightweight (weighs under 1kg). It comes with wear-resistant and scratch-resistant paint. It sports a carbon fiber high-strength bottom cover that is 40% lighter than aluminium alloy and has 120% greater bending resistance. There is a titanium alloy keyboard support plate that is 44% lighter compared to stainless steel, and a graphene aluminium alloy heat sink that reduces the weight by 70% when compared to copper fins.
It is equipped with a 72Wh battery that comes with an energy density of up to 800Wh/L. It offers a battery life of 19.8 hours, supports 15.8 hours of online meetings and 12.4 hours of continuous video streaming. The laptop comes with a 100W gallium nitride power adapter that is compact and provides rapid power.
Apart from this, Xiaomi has also officially teased the launch of the Xiaomi Watch S5 in the Chinese market.
Xiaomi Watch S5: China launch confirmed
The smartwatch will be launching this month in the Chinese market. It is made of 316L stainless steel and boasts an integrated bezel design. The sensors have been fully upgraded for more accurate health monitoring. The wrist-worn control center makes controlling your car and home more convenient. It offers a 21-day ultra-long battery life.
It comes in two classic colours: Midnight Blue variant’s bezel is made of ceramic, adorned with white-glazed time makers, and meticulously crafted with 24 facets, while the Forged Carbon variant’s bezel employs a layered forging process, and it is paired with a stainless steel case and a concentric circle crown.
There are also three stainless steel models: the black and silver versions are sleek and paired with matching fluoroelastomer straps, while the eSIM version has a silver body with a grey genuine leather strap.
