Samsung officially introduces the Galaxy Book 6 series with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors
During CES 2026, Samsung Electronics introduced its Galaxy Book 6 series that includes Galaxy Book 6, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra.
Galaxy Book 6 Series: Features
The series is powered by the new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on Intel 18A, delivering up to 16 new performance-cores and efficient-cores, enabling 60% faster CPU performance than the previous generation. It comes with an integrated NPU that delivers up to 50 TOPS.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070/5060 Laptop GPU. The vapour chamber is newly introduced in Galaxy Book 6 Pro and redesigned with a larger surface area in Galaxy Book 6 Ultra. In Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, a newly added dual-path outlet fan and heatsink absorb heat from the processor. The re-engineered fan has an optimised angle, a large inlet grill and Samsung’s proprietary uneven blade spacing technology.
The Ultra and Pro models deliver up to 30 hours of video playback, while super-fast charging on Galaxy Book 6 Ultra restores up to 63% of battery life in just 30 minutes. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro models features Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a touch screen that offers up to 1000 nits HDR peak brightness and 500 nits SDR peak brightness.
The Vision Booster intelligently adapts the display to outdoor environments, enhancing visibility and colour accuracy. True Bright 1300 certification ensures the display achieves perceived brightness levels that enhance clarity and vibrancy, while the True Black 0.0005 nits enables real black levels. Other features include an adaptive 30Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass with DXC.
In Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, there are six speakers with Dolby Atmos, including 4 force-canceling woofers and two tweeters. The back-to-back woofer design in Galaxy Book 6 Ultra cancels vibration to reduce distortion. Across both Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Galaxy Book 6 Pro 16, up-firing tweeters enhance clarity and openness for calls and dialogue, while side-firing woofers produce deeper, more dynamic bass.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra measures 15.4mm, and the Galaxy Book 6 Pro 16” measures just 11.9mm. The series boasts a unified premium look with clean, balanced lines, a two-tone keyboard, redesigned PCB layout and a haptic touch trackpad.
The series comes with various Galaxy AI features- AI Select, Search, Note Assist, Storage Share, Link to Windows, Nearby devices, multi-control and second screen. The models are backed by Samsung Knox, Windows 11 Secured-core PC features and Samsung Care+.
Galaxy Book 6 Series: Availability
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 will be available in Grey or Silver and in select markets starting late January 2026.
There will be a Galaxy Book 6 Enterprise Edition that brings features and solutions optimised for a managed IT environment, available in certain markets starting April 2026.
