Samsung Launches Galaxy Book 5 in India with 15.6-inch FHD Display, up to Intel Core Ultra 7, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD

Back in March this year, Samsung launched the Book 5 Series in the Indian market, which included three models: the Book 5 Pro, Book 5 Pro 360, and Book 5 360. More recently, the company launched the 16-inch variant of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro. Now, expanding the lineup further, Samsung has launched the new Galaxy Book 5, powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 CPUs.

It features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with anti-glare technology and is powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 255U (P-core up to 5.2 GHz, 12 MB cache) paired with Intel Graphics and Intel AI Boost NPU. The device comes with up to 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB NVMe SSD storage, with two SSD slots for expansion. The 61.2 Wh battery supports up to 19 hours of video playback and charges via a 45 W USB Type-C adapter. Slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, the Galaxy Book5 weighs 1.55 kg and measures 35.66 x 22.80 x 1.51 cm.

On the AI side, Galaxy Book5 offers features like AI Photo Remaster, AI Select for quick searches, Copilot with Hot Key, Circle to Search on PC, and Transcript Assist. It also comes pre-loaded with Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem apps such as Multi Control, Second Screen, Quick Share, Samsung Notes, Samsung Gallery, SmartThings, and more.
